Environment

Each of our homes offers a safe, nurturing, warm, inviting and modern environment which is designed to support each child to feel safe and contained. We are committed to promoting a sense of belonging and ownership for each and every child, young person, and member of staff across our services.

Location

Each service is registered to provide a loving home for between 2 to 4 children or young people aged between 8 and 17 years of age upon admission, and they are based in Shropshire, Staffordshire and across the West Midlands.

Safety

We aim to provide safe and nurturing therapeutic environments for children and young people who have experienced significant trauma in their lives and may have associated difficulties.

Trauma Informed

Each of our homes adopt a trauma-informed approach to supporting them on their healing journey, recognising the impact their previous trauma has played in shaping their difficulties and supporting them to develop coping strategies, enhance their self-worth, and empower them to achieve their full potential.

Placement Terms

The homes offer a medium to long term placement for a child or young person of either gender. Our main aims are to support the child or young person through:

  • Establishing a felt-sense of safety.

  • Enhancing skills in emotional regulation.

  • Developing skills in nurturing healthy relationships and developing initial attachments.

  • Teaching and modelling self-regulation and self-soothing skills.

  • Increasing self-awareness and skill development.

  • Transitioning into their next chapter.
