Rhewl House is registered for up to three children or young people aged between 8 and 17 years of age upon admission. The home is situated on a residential street in a quiet village on the outskirts of Oswestry, Shropshire.

Rhewl House has a diverse care team, who amongst them, have an array of social care and life experience that ensures a quality of care that is second to none.

The team are specialist in providing a trauma informed way of working to assist the children they care for in every aspect of their journey. The home prides itself on maintaining positive relationships with everybody who is important to the child, including but not limited to family and schools.

The outcomes for children at the home are easily measured and evidenced, and the children who live here thrive beyond the imagination of those that choose Rhewl House to care for them.

At Rhewl House, Positive Outcomes are able to offer a medium to long term placement for a child or young person of either gender. Our main aims are to support the child or young person through:

  • Immediate stabilisation
  • Emotional and cognitive re-regulation
  • Beginning to build relationships and initial attachments
  • Teaching and modelling self-regulation and self-soothing skills
  • Increasing self-awareness and skill development
  • Transitioning into group living settings

We are able to provide support to children or young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and may consider young people who display associated mild to moderate learning difficulties.

Positive Outcomes Childcare Limited is an exciting residential care operation, designed to support children from ages 8 to adulthood, with a focus on development and continued support of young people throughout their journey to full independence.

We specialise in care of young people who may have social, behavioural & emotional difficulties through neglect or trauma, and have developed a series of programs designed to mentor and assist the young person delivered by our experienced team.
