The Willows is registered to provide accommodation for up to two children or young people aged between 8 and 17 years of age upon admission. We are able to provide support to children or young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and may consider young people who display associated mild to moderate learning difficulties.
The Willows is able to offer a medium to long term placement for a child or young person of either gender. Our main aims are to support the child or young person through:
- Immediate stabilisation
- Emotional and cognitive re-regulation
- Beginning to build relationships and initial attachments
- Teaching and modelling self-regulation and self-soothing skills
- Increasing self-awareness and skill development
- Transitioning into group living settings
