The Willows is registered to provide accommodation for up to two children or young people aged between 8 and 17 years of age upon admission. Situated within a quiet residential area with good access links and education provisions within the local area. There are good transport links via train and bus as well as a host of shops in the local vicinity.

At the Willows, Positive Outcomes are able to offer a medium to long term placement for a child or young person of either gender. Our main aims are to support the child or young person through:

• Immediate stabilisation
• Emotional and cognitive re-regulation
• Beginning to build relationships and initial attachments
• Teaching and modelling self-regulation and self-soothing skills
• Increasing self-awareness and skill development
• Transitioning into group living settings

The home is near to the Telford town centre which offers a host of activities that can be completed including: Bowling, crazy golf, skating, cinema, large outdoor park area.

For access to more cultural environments including theatres and museums, the market town of Shrewsbury is also nearby.

The staff at the Willows pride themselves on providing a very homely home environment where young people can reside in a safe place that is comfortable and inviting, allowing them the opportunity to thrive and achieve the things that they want to do.

At the Willows, no subject is taboo, and we have a strong staff team that can support and guide young people with consistency and give them a sense of belonging.
